721 Sheldon Street – Steel Salon Structure
At 721 Sheldon Street, Shelton & Associates designed a modern steel salon structure that redefines functionality and presence in a compact urban setting. The project was envisioned as a bold yet efficient solution for a local business owner, balancing durability, light-filled interiors, and a clean contemporary aesthetic.
The salon’s steel frame construction provides long-term strength and adaptability, while expansive glazing allows natural light to flood the workspace—creating an inviting environment for both stylists and clients. The exterior expresses modern refinement with a straightforward form, metal accents, and crisp lines that establish a professional identity on this highly visible Prescott corridor.
Inside, the open layout maximizes flexibility for salon stations and retail display, with utilities and circulation planned for efficiency. Every design decision—from material selection to structural detailing—was guided by a commitment to low-maintenance durability and modern appeal.
This project reflects our ability to collaborate with small business owners to design spaces that are not only practical and code-compliant, but also strong statements of brand and identity within their communities.
